On 3rd & 4th October Youth Work Ireland North Connaught/Sligo Youth Information were delighted to attend the International Conference on Quality Practice and Innovation in the Delivery of Youth Information.

This amazing 2 day event in Ballykisteen Hotel, Limerick Junction brought the Youth Information sector together to discuss the need for further investment and the importance of our service in supporting our young people.

Day one of the infonomics: Facts Matter heard from key experts in the Irish youth sector on the need to invest more in this vital service, the importance of building partnerships and the importance of youth participation.

Day two focused on the changing landscape of youth information in Europe. We also explored some of the new and emerging technologies in the area of information provision such as the metaverse and chat-gpt and AI.
